Annual Garage Sale on the FSSH Motherhouse Grounds

Proceeds benefit the FSSH Brazilian Missions

Thank you to all our donors and shoppers at the Annual Garage Sale! It was a wonderful success!

For more than 25 years, the Brazilian Auxiliary has organized a large garage sale to raise funds for our missionary work in Brazil. Each year, shoppers line up and wait for the moment the yellow tape is cut and the sale begins.

Among the treasures found at each sale are:

  • Christmas/holiday items
  • religious items
  • infant, children & adult clothing

Franciscan Family Gathering
We welcome whole families, parts of families, traditional families, single-parent families, single persons, widows and widowers, young and old to come and join us for another morning of reflection on the first Franciscan value: poverty. How can we live a simpler lifestyle without clutter? How can we respect Mother Earth more in our use of her gifts? How can we share so that others may have a life that reflects human dignity? These and more questions will be discussed at our next meeting on Sunday, May 19th from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Assisi Center. Come for Sunday Mass at 9:00 a.m. or just come for the morning of shared thoughts and new ideas. We can at least promise some delicious donuts, hot coffee and new friends!

FSSH Jubilee Mass
Join us for this festive celebration of our Sisters who have faithfully followed the Son in spreading His Gospel message. In 2013 we have 10 Jubilarians who have been engaged in works of neighborly love for a combined 530 years of service.
